Website Programs at the Institute
All offerings at the Institute reflect the teachings of the psychospiritual path known collectively as and are based on The Soul and Service Trilogy. They provide instruction, practical tools, and guidance for soul development in holographic leadership, service, and group life during this challenging period in our planet’s history.
Service becomes a means of purification, providing opportunities to remove the obstacles to inner peace.
~ Susan S. Trout, PhD, Born to Serve
All courses are led by extensively trained and highly motivated website faculty members. Website faculty members participate actively in pilot programs of the courses they teach, serving alternately as student and faculty member with their peers. They then apply the Institute’s holographic philosophy and structures to their preparation and leadership.
The Institute for the Advancement of Service does not provide medical or mental health care. As such, website programs are not intended to be psychotherapy, medical therapy, or a substitute for either one. Participants are required to assume self-responsibility for their wellbeing by seeking, when appropriate, psychological and medical professional care. As co-partners in the courses in which they are enrolled, participants are asked to set intentions, do assignments, respect IAS communication guidelines, and in all ways participate with self-responsibility for their wellbeing.
